Farm and agricultural worker Jobs in Denmark for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

Who this page is for. You are a citizen of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland - or you are from Ukraine and registered under temporary protection. In both cases you may take up work in Denmark without a work permit, and the employer files nothing for you. For EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that is free movement of workers; for Ukrainians under temporary protection it is immediate access to the labour market, currently until 4 March 2028. If you are from outside the EU and not under protection, this page is not about you - the page for foreign workers is.
Working in Danish agriculture usually means joining a variety of farms, from family-run holdings to larger commercial operations, that raise livestock, grow crops, or manage greenhouses. Your daily routine typically involves physical tasks outdoors or in modern agricultural buildings, such as tending to crops, operating machinery, caring for animals, and general maintenance of farm grounds. Employers in this sector look for dependable workers who are comfortable with hard physical labor, can handle early mornings, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Moving to Denmark to work on a farm means adapting to a new community, where many agricultural businesses are well-organized and value clear communication and safety standards. While your daily tasks will keep you busy with seasonal harvesting, milking, planting, or feeding, you will also need to manage practical steps like finding accommodation and getting around rural areas. Taking time to research potential employers and understanding what life is like in the Danish countryside will help you decide if this path is right for you.
What is advertised right now
On 14 October 2026 our register holds 12 live farm and agricultural worker vacancies in Denmark that carry the employer's own application address. These are public adverts collected from the national job services; they are not ours and we do not stand between you and the employer.
Employers advertising at the moment include Bixter.dk ApS.
67 farm and agricultural workers are already in the Workuro register. Create a free profile and we send you the live adverts in your trade, with the address to apply to, as they appear. You apply yourself; nothing about you goes anywhere unless you press a button next to one advert and ask us to send your CV.
Pay
We do not print wages on this page. The adverts we collect do not carry them reliably, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. Pay in Denmark is set by collective agreements in most of these trades; the employer's advert, or the union for the sector, is where the real figure is.
Nobody may charge you for this
You need no permit, so there is nothing for an agent to "arrange". If anyone asks you for money for a job in Denmark, for a contract, for a place in a queue or for paperwork that does not exist, walk away. Workuro is free for workers and always will be; an employer pays only if they want to open your contact details, and you can switch that off.
