CNC and machine operator Jobs in Poland for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

Who this page is for. You are a citizen of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland - or you are from Ukraine and registered under temporary protection. In both cases you may take up work in Poland without a work permit, and the employer files nothing for you. For EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that is free movement of workers; for Ukrainians under temporary protection it is immediate access to the labour market, currently until 4 March 2028. If you are from outside the EU and not under protection, this page is not about you - the page for foreign workers is.
Working the controls of a CNC machine means spending your shift loading raw metal or plastics, calling up the right program, and verifying that tolerances hold through the run. You will likely spend time deburring finished parts, measuring components with calipers and micrometers, and making small offsets when the tool wear starts to show. Much of the work happens in medium-sized manufacturing plants, subcontracting job shops, and automotive supply facilities that keep production moving across multiple shifts.
Shops that hire for this trade generally look for people who can read technical drawings independently and make sense of standard control systems. You will fit in well if you take pride in keeping your work area clean, checking your own output before passing it along to quality control, and communicating clearly with team leaders when something looks off. Polish industrial employers appreciate operators who respect safety procedures and treat their machinery with care.

What employers in Poland tend to ask for
Registration. Register your address with the local authority once you arrive - that is the same step a national takes when moving house, and it is what unlocks a tax number and a bank account.
Pay
We do not print wages on this page. The adverts we collect do not carry them reliably, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. Pay in Poland is set by collective agreements in most of these trades; the employer's advert, or the union for the sector, is where the real figure is.
Nobody may charge you for this
You need no permit, so there is nothing for an agent to "arrange". If anyone asks you for money for a job in Poland, for a contract, for a place in a queue or for paperwork that does not exist, walk away. Workuro is free for workers and always will be; an employer pays only if they want to open your contact details, and you can switch that off.
