Do you want to take daily operational charge of a passionate Japanese kitchen? We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Sushi Chef to manage the daily operations of our kitchen. You will play a central role in ensuring that our high standards of quality and freshness are always met. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the restaurant management. There is no personnel management responsibility (scheduling, hiring/firing, etc.) in this role. Instead, you will have the full daily operational responsibility for the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently during service. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality sushi and other hot/cold Japanese dishes. Taking daily charge of the kitchen workflow and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours. Maintaining strict hygiene standards, food safety, and quality control. Managing inventory and stock control in cooperation with management. What we look for: Proven experience in making sushi and a solid understanding of Japanese cuisine in general. Experience from a similar leading role in a kitchen environment is highly preferred, but not a strict requirement. Structured mindset with the ability to maintain an overview and stay calm under pressure. Reliable, responsible, and a strong team player.
