Forklift operator Jobs in the Netherlands for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

Who this page is for. You are a citizen of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland - or you are from Ukraine and registered under temporary protection. In both cases you may take up work in the Netherlands without a work permit, and the employer files nothing for you. For EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that is free movement of workers; for Ukrainians under temporary protection it is immediate access to the labour market, currently until 4 March 2028. If you are from outside the EU and not under protection, this page is not about you - the page for foreign workers is.
Working as a forklift operator in the Netherlands usually involves moving goods around busy warehouses, distribution centers, and shipping yards. You will spend your shifts loading and unloading trucks, organizing stock on high racks, and keeping your machine safe and ready for use. Employers who hire for this role often include large transport companies, online retailers, food distributors, and port logistics firms that need reliable hands to keep their supply chains moving smoothly every day.
Most workplaces expect you to stay focused, follow strict safety rules, and communicate well with your team while handling pallets in tight spaces. You might work in shifts that cover mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the busy hours of the facility. If you hold a valid certification and have solid experience behind the wheel, you will find a steady trade where employers value punctuality, caution, and a strong work ethic.
What is advertised right now
On 14 October 2026 our register holds 14 live forklift operator vacancies in the Netherlands that carry the employer's own application address. These are public adverts collected from the national job services; they are not ours and we do not stand between you and the employer.
16 forklift operators are already in the Workuro register. Create a free profile and we send you the live adverts in your trade, with the address to apply to, as they appear. You apply yourself; nothing about you goes anywhere unless you press a button next to one advert and ask us to send your CV.
What employers in the Netherlands tend to ask for
Registration. Register your address with the local authority once you arrive - that is the same step a national takes when moving house, and it is what unlocks a tax number and a bank account.
Pay
We do not print wages on this page. The adverts we collect do not carry them reliably, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. Pay in the Netherlands is set by collective agreements in most of these trades; the employer's advert, or the union for the sector, is where the real figure is.
Nobody may charge you for this
You need no permit, so there is nothing for an agent to "arrange". If anyone asks you for money for a job in the Netherlands, for a contract, for a place in a queue or for paperwork that does not exist, walk away. Workuro is free for workers and always will be; an employer pays only if they want to open your contact details, and you can switch that off.
