Chef - Svogerslev Kro Employer: Svogerslev Kro 2021 ApS, CVR no. 42437328 Location: Svogerslev Hovedgade 45, 4000 Roskilde Employment type: Full-time, permanent (37 hours per week) Start date: As soon as possible About the Company Svogerslev Kro is a traditional Danish country inn (kro) in Svogerslev near Roskilde. We serve Danish and French-inspired cuisine made from quality ingredients to restaurant guests, hotel guests and private events. About the Position We are looking for a skilled and motivated chef to join our kitchen team. Your main tasks will include: Preparing hot and cold dishes à la carte and for menus, events and celebrations Daily preparation (mise en place), cooking and plating to a high standard Ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation Ordering ingredients, receiving deliveries and managing stock Participating in cleaning and closing of the kitchen Requirements Experience as a chef/cook in a restaurant kitchen You are reliable, efficient and take pride in your work You are able to work independently as well as part of a team You can communicate in Danish or English You are flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends We Offer A full-time permanent position (37 hours per week) A friendly and professional kitchen team Good working conditions and the opportunity to develop your skills How to Apply Send your CV and a short application to job@vejentil.dk.
