JOB PURPOSE =========== To provide safe, high\\-quality, evidence\\-based nursing care to students and emergency response to staff, and visitors within an international and boarding school environment during the main school and also the Summer Camp. The School Nurse is responsible for assessing and managing illness and injury, providing emergency and first\\-aid care, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with families and external healthcare professionals, and supporting the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of students. The role also carries significant responsibility for safeguarding and child protection, ensuring that student welfare and safety remain central to all aspects of nursing practice. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES ============================== ### Professional Nursing Practice \* Practise in accordance with Swiss nursing regulations, applicable professional standards, Croix\\-Rouge requirements, and NMC guidance (if applicable). \* Provide evidence\\-based, patient\\-centred nursing care. \* Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable Swiss data protection requirements. \* Maintain professional boundaries and uphold high standards of professional conduct. \* Participate in continuing professional development, mandatory training, and safeguarding education. \* Maintain competence in emergency response, first aid, medication administration, and relevant clinical procedures. ### Clinical Nursing Care \* Provide nursing care to students, staff, and visitors during scheduled shifts. \* Assess and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and health conditions. \* Conduct nursing assessments and develop appropriate care plans. \* Monitor students' health and recognise signs of deterioration requiring escalation or referral. \* Provide first aid
