Carpenter and joiner Jobs in Spain for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

Who this page is for. You are a citizen of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland - or you are from Ukraine and registered under temporary protection. In both cases you may take up work in Spain without a work permit, and the employer files nothing for you. For EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that is free movement of workers; for Ukrainians under temporary protection it is immediate access to the labour market, currently until 4 March 2028. If you are from outside the EU and not under protection, this page is not about you - the page for foreign workers is.
Working in this trade involves cutting, shaping, and installing timber for everything from structural framework and stairs to bespoke furniture and interior fittings. Carpenters and joiners on site spend their hours reading blueprints, measuring materials precisely, and using hand and power tools to assemble and finish projects to a high standard. Much of the work happens either on active building sites framing new structures or inside workshops where detailed joinery pieces are crafted before being fitted on location.
Opportunities are typically advertised by independent contractors, medium-sized construction firms, and specialized interior renovation companies that handle residential and commercial projects. These employers look for skilled craftspeople who can work independently, solve problems with measurements or fittings on the fly, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. Having a reliable set of personal hand tools and a strong portfolio or demonstrable experience with various types of wood and hardware are key assets when applying for these positions.
What is advertised right now
On 14 October 2026 our register holds 18 live carpenter and joiner vacancies in Spain that carry the employer's own application address. These are public adverts collected from the national job services; they are not ours and we do not stand between you and the employer.
Employers advertising at the moment include Digital Zero S.L, MOBALEX, CARPINTERIA M DE LA FUENTE E HIJOS, S.L..
29 carpenter and joiners are already in the Workuro register. Create a free profile and we send you the live adverts in your trade, with the address to apply to, as they appear. You apply yourself; nothing about you goes anywhere unless you press a button next to one advert and ask us to send your CV.
Pay
We do not print wages on this page. The adverts we collect do not carry them reliably, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. Pay in Spain is set by collective agreements in most of these trades; the employer's advert, or the union for the sector, is where the real figure is.
Nobody may charge you for this
You need no permit, so there is nothing for an agent to "arrange". If anyone asks you for money for a job in Spain, for a contract, for a place in a queue or for paperwork that does not exist, walk away. Workuro is free for workers and always will be; an employer pays only if they want to open your contact details, and you can switch that off.
