Nurse Jobs in Germany for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

What employers in Germany tend to ask for

Language. Enough German to be understood on site. Nobody will test you on it for this kind of work, but the advert will say it and the employer will ask. Put what you have on the profile, honestly. For this trade the bar is higher: German at B1 or B2, certified. Care and nursing roles are regulated, and the language level is part of having the qualification recognised. Registration. Register your address with the local authority once you arrive - that is the same step a national takes when moving house, and it is what unlocks a tax number and a bank account.

Pay
