How much does Workuro cost?
It's free for workers. Creating your profile and reading the full step-by-step guide cost nothing, and we never ask for a credit card. There are no fees, ever: no placement fees, no commission, no salary cuts.
Is Workuro a recruitment agency?
No. We don't place workers, sign employment contracts or take commissions. Workuro is a registry - a place where you present yourself and employers find you directly. Your employment contract is always directly between you and the employer.
Can Workuro guarantee me a job?
No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who promises that. What actually happens: your profile is visible to employers searching for your skills, on equal terms with everyone else - free.
Who can see my profile?
Employers searching the registry see your professional details - profession, experience, languages, target countries. Your email and phone number stay private until you choose to share them with a specific employer.
Which countries can I work in?
The registry covers employers across Europe - the EU, Norway, Switzerland and the UK. Where you can legally work depends on your citizenship and each country's visa rules; many employers hiring from abroad sponsor work permits, but always verify this directly with the employer.
What professions are welcome?
All of them. Construction, care work, logistics, hospitality, agriculture, manufacturing, IT - if it's legal work, your profile belongs in the registry.
How do I cancel?
There is nothing to cancel - your profile is free and stays listed for as long as you want. To leave, delete your account under Privacy & data in your dashboard; that erases your data at once. If you still have an old subscription from before Workuro became free, cancel it under Plan - your profile stays listed for free.
Where is my data stored?
In the European Union (Ireland), protected under EU privacy law (GDPR). Workers never pay, so we hold no card details of yours. You can download everything we store about you, or delete it, anytime from your dashboard.
I'm an employer - how do I search the registry?
Open 'For employers' in the top menu. An employer account is separate from a worker profile: sign in with your work email, search the registry, and subscribe to reveal candidates' contact details. No per-hire fees, cancel anytime.
