Who we are

Workuro (workuro.com) is operated by Mindbalancer OÜ, a company registered in Estonia, European Union ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@workuro.com.

What we collect and why

Profile data - name, profession, experience, country of origin, languages, target countries. You provide this to be listed in the registry; that is the whole purpose of the service (contract basis, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Account data - your email address, used for signing in (one-time codes), receipts and essential service messages.

Payment data - handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

Assistant conversations - what you type to the profile assistant is processed to build your profile. Messages are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing and are not used by us for anything else.

Profile statistics - we count when employers view your profile or see it in search results, so we can show you honest statistics. We do not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (database, hosted in Ireland, EU), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery, EU region) and Google (Gemini API for the profile assistant). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Who can see your profile

Employers searching the registry see your professional details. Your email address and any other contact details are never shown publicly and are only shared when you choose to share them.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your profile and personal data are erased immediately and your subscription is cancelled. Payment records are retained by Stripe as required by accounting law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export and erase your data, and object to or restrict processing. The fastest way: your dashboard has one-click Download my data and Delete my account under Privacy & data. For anything else, email hello@workuro.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority - in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
