Registered unemployment falls in Portugal

What this means if you want to work there

Registered unemployment in Portugal fell significantly last month compared to the same period last year. This downward trend shows that the local job market is shifting and fewer people are looking for work. If you are a skilled worker planning to move to Portugal, this change could mean more open positions in various local industries. The recent data does not explain which specific sectors experienced the largest hiring increases. You should keep your professional CV updated and ready in English while you monitor official local employment announcements.
