Hotel and hospitality worker Jobs in Austria for EU Citizens: No Work Permit Needed (2026)

Who this page is for. You are a citizen of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland - or you are from Ukraine and registered under temporary protection. In both cases you may take up work in Austria without a work permit, and the employer files nothing for you. For EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that is free movement of workers; for Ukrainians under temporary protection it is immediate access to the labour market, currently until 4 March 2028. If you are from outside the EU and not under protection, this page is not about you - the page for foreign workers is.
Working in Austrian hospitality typically involves joining busy teams in hotels, mountain lodges, and restaurants where you welcome guests, handle daily service duties, and keep operations running smoothly. Many employers in this sector are family-run businesses or established regional hotels that look for dependable people to help across different departments, ranging from guest relations to housekeeping and kitchen support, depending on your background and interests.
Life in this field often means adapting to seasonal shifts, working alongside an international crew, and meeting high standards of customer care. While the work requires physical energy and flexibility, it also offers a chance to build hands-on experience, connect with travelers from all over the world, and experience local hospitality culture from the inside.
What is advertised right now
On 14 October 2026 our register holds 38 live hotel and hospitality worker vacancies in Austria that carry the employer's own application address. These are public adverts collected from the national job services; they are not ours and we do not stand between you and the employer.
Employers advertising at the moment include Hotel Garni Obermair, siehe Beschreibung, HLGS KG, LARIMAR Hotel, Mag. Andreas Steinbauer, Nom.
34 hotel and hospitality workers are already in the Workuro register. Create a free profile and we send you the live adverts in your trade, with the address to apply to, as they appear. You apply yourself; nothing about you goes anywhere unless you press a button next to one advert and ask us to send your CV.
Pay
We do not print wages on this page. The adverts we collect do not carry them reliably, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. Pay in Austria is set by collective agreements in most of these trades; the employer's advert, or the union for the sector, is where the real figure is.
Nobody may charge you for this
You need no permit, so there is nothing for an agent to "arrange". If anyone asks you for money for a job in Austria, for a contract, for a place in a queue or for paperwork that does not exist, walk away. Workuro is free for workers and always will be; an employer pays only if they want to open your contact details, and you can switch that off.
